Does lower MR stop Riven trade?

Hi thx in advance for your help. I've been away a while and just wondering if the mastery rank requirement on riven mods applies to trade aswell? Basically I'm mr 12 nearly 13 and want to buy a mr 15 riven. I know I wont be able to use it till I'm mastery rank 15 but can I buy it. I've got a bunch of mastery fodder and don't think it'll take more than a few days or a week to be mr 15 if want.

But obviously I dont want to miss out on the riven if its perfect for a weapon I really want to use.

Fairly sure it does not.  I've seen one thread on here where someone traded for a riven that was above his MR and now he cannot use it.  Trading should be fine.
