Unacceptable upadte problems

I am very unsatisfyed about the update problems, I cant stand anymore.

Everytime the game updates (too much often) my launcher updates and starts "looking fo new content"

Forums on the net say that this problem is common, My internet connection is not slow and the game keeps veryfiyng for hours. More than once I had to try for a few days until some magic makes the game come back to life.

 

Today it happened again, when you did a hotfix about something in the derelict. Doesnt matter, becaus I am getting tired of playing for a day, and wating 3 or 4 to play for another solo day.

 

I clicked the steam button to validate the files from the game, and it found 54 in files with a problem. Then it said it would download these files again. When The download started it had 15GB to download... This means the whole game is corrupted? okay lets download it all over again. It will last 4 days to download unless I forbid everyone else from using internet, otherwhise it will be only 2 days.

 

Okay... So I started the download and went to do something else... When I look in the computer it said it couldnt download some file because it was corrupted. I tried 3 times, always the same error

 

I have a print of the error, but I didnt find a way to post here.

 

I was hoping for some friends to convince them to play the game, but I am disapointed. I just lost the motivation.

 

 

I am just here to warn... because of a couple Mb of hotfix My game stoped working(several times), and maybe other people's too. I dont know what to do.

I dont believe I will be able to come back to the game, as it will be long untill it downloads, and by the time it finishes there will be more updates coming with the possibility of making it stop again. SO... please... do something about this launcher problem, It shouldnt be too dificult to verify if there is a newer update. Only check a String with the last update the game has is older tha the last update the server has.

yeah man, i have problems too. I played this some year ago, but my friends have good feelings about current state of the game. Now i have a proper rig to play any game in high to ultra spcs, but the warframe launcher dont run proper.

But i have some concerns about the win 10 + firewall + windows defender.

I have problems with guild wars 2 and ESO too ( this problems is solved ).

We have to take patience :(

Patience is all that I can have now... since the game is not even downloading due to an error of "corrupted download" when trying to download the game again from the steam server.

 

Seems like i will not play the game for the whole week even if they correct this issue. maybe I will give up trying as you said...

I am trying to download the game again, but it always fails saying that some file is corrupted

Are you using steam ? I've been told steam verify will create false positive and that there might not be anything wrong with the game files.

Yeah I am using steam.

It got past the corrupted file problem yesterday, and it reached about 2 GB. Then it found another corrupt file, and today it got passed too

 

In a day or two the download will end. If this does not work I will switch to the non steam version. Is it better? more relyable?

Well, I dont have data to back up my claims, just my experience. I had a lot of issues with the steam version. When I switched to vanilla, no issues at all.
