Rarity Of Mods

I found that some mods are fairly rarer than others...even tho they are the same rarity.

I've had a few Hellfire and Convulsion mods, but I've seen no freeze / ice damage mods for either riffle, or my pistol.

I've also had problem that some rares drop a bit more often than other rares.

 

Is it just me or do you guys experience the same thing too? There are other great uncommon mods but why I often get the Redirection? Thanks for the help.

Yeah, over 80 hours of gameplay and still no freeze mod for the rifle. Got it for my pistol though. I've noticed certain areas and levels tend to drop certain mods. (I hope that one made sense)

Yeah, try farming defense for different factions on different planets. I seem to get more cryo rounds (rifle freeze) from Grineer missions, but I don't have hard data to back that up.

edit: just checked the wiki and it claims all factions will drop cryo rounds, so who knows.

I have tons of molten impact, and 3 north winds.

My fellow partner has tons of north winds and 1 molten impact.

I have like tons of all of them... I think I have around 8 cryo rounds, but I had more and fused them.

North wind I have tons of, and Deep Freeze I can't even count how many I have...

I get tons of mods from High Level defense, especially infested (Xini on Eris).

I agree with all the other reply's. You will get most, if not all, the mods in time. Just do a variety of missions and defense (Higher lvls tend to drop more rarer mods) and the Rarity will come to you.

I already have almost every mod in the game, including a lot of Rares... And still don't have Switf Deth which is Common...
