[SOLVED] Keybind for walking left not working

Hello DE-Team

since last update my keybind for walking left is not working anymore.

- launcher version: 2017.03.60.11.03

- engine version: 2017.03.10.13.26

Things that changed since it worked the last time:

-Updated GPU Driver

-Steam file verification downloaded a 14GB, I startet that because I got stuck after first loading screen, before login (on that black screen in between). This issue was resolved updating the video card driver.

Things I tried to diagnose/fix the issue:

- Reset keybindings

- Tried to bind different (letter) keys, none worked. Said keys work just fine in chat.

- Tried keys as primary/secondary binds

- Turned off DirectX10/11 options in launcher, since the issue appeared with a driver update

- Tried the stuff in the 2-3 threads that came up to using the search term "can't walk ******"

A few things noteworthy:

- The left ARROW key seems to work just fine. However no one can play the game with arrow keys...

- I have only a keyboard and mouse as input devices, no controllers or anything else

- The key works fine during mission loading, i.e. i can veer the the Liset to the left. Only moving my player character seems to fail

- My favorite beverage is beer

Solved it!

Turns out the keybindings menu during the mission is a different one than in the Liset.

Changing during a mission fixed it.

I guess the Liset keybind menu not being the same as during a mission (while the one in the mission is the 'real' one) is a kind of bug too.

Anyway, consider this bug solved / closed
