The_Harrowing
Wazzup guys? It's yo' bug here back with more concept art! This time we're keeping it simple! Concept Art: Name: Minotaur Weapon Type: Bladed Shield (or just Shield) Description: Half blade, half shield. The Minotaur is a smaller scale Centaur shield reconstructed for use by Warframes deployed planet side. Concept: The Minotaur is a small-scale Centaur usable by Warframes as a melee weapon in non-archwing missions. Coloring: Primary - Center of the shield Secondary - The expanding components of the shield Tertiary - The blade Accents - The rear grip Energy - The lights in the center and along the expanding components Stats: -Numbers wise the Minotaur is virtually identical to it's older brother. -Primary damage is slash -Weapon is Crit focused -80% reduction when blocking. (Slightly less than Shield and Sword) Why this?: Simply put; there is nothing like the Centaur in our standard arsenal. Every Arch-Melee weapon has some non-Arch equivalent to it: Kaszas is a scythe, Knux are fists, Rathbone is a Hammer, but we don't have any weapon close to the Centaur save for the Shield and Sword. Minotaur would introduce a strictly shield weapon and allow us to wield (what is in my opinion) the best Arch-melee weapon outside of Archwing. Let me know below what you guys think! CherryPauper
Looks good, but I'm not a fan of the curved tip. I'd rather it just be a sword. I think that would look really cool. I wouldn't mind seeing more unique weapons rather than the usual pole arms, tonfas, etc.
RestlessDraugr
While the hooked end looks interesting aesthetically, it doesn't serve much purpose when there are no physical shields to hook around. The idea of a smaller scale centaur I really like but I think the shield section should look more rigid than soft edged.
