Kubrows vs other companions

I'm running with a wyrm/laser rifle now but an egged dropped earlier and I have everything needed to incubate it, so my question is are Kubrows better than other companions in general? I know there's so much variation in how both types can be used but aside from personal preference, which one is best in general? Help me decide which one to use 🙂

Do yourself a favor and stick with a sentinel, they're a lot more useful because they have an item vacuum mod while kubrows don't. Vacuum makes the game faster and less tedious, but in the end it's all up to your own personal taste and what you're willing to deal with.

Depending on the frame, if you want survivability of your companions then use Kubrows/Kavats.

If you want Utility then use Sentinels, but they die quite fast by enemies like Kuva guards, Napalms, Bombards or Scorchers.

And this belongs into players helping players and not feedback.

Kavats and Kubrows can be worth the effort, but know that you need the Incubator Upgrade Segment, found in a Dojo Lab, and plenty of resources. Because maintaining and setting up Kavats and Kubrows can be expensive:
