XP During the Mastery rank ?

Hello, I just Wanted to ask that if while we can pass a mastery rank (when we can pass 8 to 9 for exemple) but we don't, use Warframe is usefull for the next rank ? (Same exemple : We up lvl of our Warframe, is this still influent on masteries point ?)

if i understand what your saying right, if you failed to pass a mastery test but continue to level up new frames / weapons etc yes the mastery you get will still be added towards your next rank.

You're fine if you fail the test,  you can still lvl up your stuff no mastery point will be wasted.
