Need help with kavats

When i started playing warframe again in a random level i found a mysterious item? (Kavat incubator upgrade) Through research on the wiki i found out a couple things, for instance it breeds a cat. i can scan it and it feeds of the infested. It says i need Kavat DNA to build it? How does i get it/where do i get it. I'm looking for in game help/tips on how to get DNA? (Haven't got incubator power core yet) so some help with that would be cool! <3

for the kavats genetic codes you need to scan feral kavats in the derelict, for breed a kavat you need 10 genetic codes+ the ones needed fot the upgrade
if you are lucky you can also find an alert that gives you 5 genetic codes
