Original Helmets for Frames

Hi, I've noticed that once you craft a frame, you immediately get their original helmets and if you sell the frame, the original helmet won't be gone. If I craft the frame again, will I get another piece of their original helmet?

 

And also, do I require to make the vanilla version of the frame to get their original helmet so that I can use the original helment for it's prime counterpart, or it's already available when you make the prime version?

 

Also to add, I just saw my Nekros Prime having it's vanilla version helmet even though I don't/haven't crafted the vanilla frame, but I don't see the original helmet in my "appearance" tab.

I haven't the foggiest clue about the first one, but you will have to build the standard frame to get that helmet as a cosmetic option, yes.

I don't think you need to.

This ended up happening to me with Oberon - I crafted him twice and now have two instances of his default helmet.

As for prime frames - they have access to the vanilla styles for helmets and skins without duplicating them.
