MetaMortred
The value of a level 1 Grineer is equal to a level 40 grineer. this is not right. They are much harder to kill and thus they should give much more experience. Rank 01 = 10 XP ... Rank 10 = 100 XP ... Rank 30 = 300 XP ... Rank 50 = 500 XP It might seem unrealistic, if that is too much then: Rank 1-5 = 50 XP ... Rank 5-10 = 100 XP ... Rank 10-15 = 200 XP ... and so on if none, then just find a balanced increment that works. like making higher ranks harder to reach. or getting to rank 30 should take a long while compared to lower ranks. im sure youll figure something out. xDaitenshi
There should indeed be level scaling but the exact amounts probaly shouldn't be that. Should write an equation like XP = If (Player level = enemy level + or - 2 then XP = Enemy Level / 2 * 10) ex: If the player is within 2 level of the enemy level use this equation else if (Player level < enemy level - 3 then XP = enemy level/ 2 * 12) ex: if the player is 3 levels below or more. else if (player level > enemy level + 3 then XP = Enemy level/2 * 8) ex: if the player is 3 levels higher or more So if I'm fighting enemies on level with myself say Level 10. And he's level 10. I would be making 100xp a kill. If I'm under leveled more like 120 and if over leveled it's like 80. Of course the equation should be far more complected than this allowing for all of the variable like enemy rarity, individual enemy difficulty ratings and whatnot. Basically this allows lower level player and higher to still play together and it scales xp properly. I mean its just kinda a rough equation but preset xp values are hooey. [DE]Steve
The value of a level 1 Grineer is equal to a level 40 grineer. Are you sure? We have a scaling formula in place. If its not working, that's a bug. Definitely on the same page that it should scale up.

I mean higher level enemies drop higher level mods correct?
