Iron Skin and Block special effects?

So I haven't had the chance to test this out, but Rhino's Iron Skin says it disables the damage reduction of blocking, but doesn't stop the block animation. Does this disable the special effects of various weapons like gathering charges for a radial blind with the Vaykor Sydon or the blocking effect with Silva and Aegis' Avenging Truth?

Yes, stupidly you can't benefit from any blocking anything with rhino.
