Sunlight apothic bug

I just came back to the game again and was doing all the quests that I missed. Up until now everything was going fine. I was doing the Silver Grove quest and was on the part where I put the Sunlight Apothic on the shrine. I made the Apothic, equipped it, and go into the mission that shows up. I make it to the shrine, press X, and the Oberon Specter comes out. I kill the specter and..... nothing. Nothing happens. No voice narration, and no continuation of the quest. My apothic is consumed and nothing has progressed. Going back into the quest doesn't do anything either. I am assuming I need another Apothic to try and going through the laborious process of making it again.
