Hey there, Tenno.

As the roster for Warframe continues to grow, it becomes easy to notice that our choice in warframes and even our 'Fanframe' concepts.

As of now, there are primarily two different types of Warframe styles present:

Manipulation: Warframes that can control aspects of common particles to manipulate sound waves, magnetic polarities, electrostatic tension, thermal combustion or even antimatter.

Proficiency: Warframes that posses uncanny skill or attributes such as, masterful sword skill, physical prowess, flawless stealth or technological proficiency.

As far as general community demand goes, there is a much higher amount of people who ask, sketch and post about new or improved manipulation frames.

So this concept is dedicated to all you Rhino and Vauban lovers out there who actually throw your punches (and balls), because hey, what else do you need?

(Apologies for the sales pitch, but here it goes!)

Explosives Specialist

This Warframe is the master of crowd control, able to shred the foolish hordes of daring foes into a pile of giblets with a stunning array of explosive firepower.

Base Statistics

Health:                 125 (375)

Power:                 100 (150)

Armour:               125 - 130

Shield Capacity: 125 (325)

Sprint Speed:      0.95/1.0

Polarities:             4x '=

                              1x 'V'

                              1x 'D'

Aura Polarity:           'D'

Abilities:

1. Proximity Mine (25 Energy):

This ability allows the Frame to place a remote mine on the nearest surface (including walls and low ceilings) that will be detonated when an enemy stumbles into its proximity for a 1.2 seconds.  Upgrading this mod reduces the time of which the explosive will need to register a target before detonation.

2. Frag rounds (25 Energy):

This ability supercharges the ammunition in the Frame's guns for a period of time to cause explosive damage to any target it hits.

The relative size of the explosion is scaled against the base damage of the weapon:

high fire rate weapons and pellet spread-based damage yield the smallest explosions whereas  semi automatic and high damage weapons inflict a larger area of explosion.

Note: this weapon will inflict pure explosive damage, any relative effects such as armour piercing, fire, ice ect. are negated until the end of the ability's use. Upgrading this mod increases the explosive damage dealt.

3. Carpet Bombing (50 Energy):

With this ability, the Frame will throw down two parallel lines of explosives that detonate simultaneously in a strip to cause massive amounts of damage in any one direction. Simple, but effective. Upgrading this mod will increase the number of explosives that are thrown (and therefore the length of the 'carpet').

4. Radial Bombardment (100 Energy):

When surrounded by enemies, Radial Bombardment allows the Frame to send out a myriad of small explosives in all directions, causing massive amounts of damage to all targets and knocking back any survivors that remain. Upgrading this mod increases the number of projectiles that are fired at once.

Note: practically this --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fCPO3ZOSJo

In general, this frame is designed to keep the average cannon fodder enemies at a far reach and to reward more experienced players for careful planning in missions.

It is important to note that this frame is Not, by any standard, a tank - due to its stats abilities as well as its effectiveness against Grineer being severely dampened by their high armour profile, given that explosive damage is recorded as an element that is resisted by armour.

Thanks for your time.

The name, design and stats of this frame are yet to be fully decided. I will leave it up to you, my fellow Tenno, for any feedback or questions you deem as necessary.

Hate to be that guy, but Ember is already the crowd control frame...

technically all element based ones are crowd control, mag, nyx, saren, volt, frost all cc

actually a skills i were thinking of was an impact grenade that would inheret the elemental effects from your weapons causing those status effects when it explodes

the ultimate is too much like embers though one i was thinking of would be he hunkers down and fires a mortar like projectile from his back acting as living artillery. for one shot.
