Rifle Riven Mod won't open

Ok. So tonight, was trying to get a Riven mod to crack open, but it just wouldn't.

Riven Mod states:  "Sustain a 3x melee combo multiplier for 30 seconds with an active pet present"

So I went in a Delrelict survival mission with my Rhino Prime and my carrier prime. I thought "All good. This is gonna be easy"

Popped my riven mod in my Ignis, got my 0 level Fangs out with just a stance in it and went to hunt some infested.

The thing is, I went in twice (because I thought the first try I missed something) and the second I made sure I had everything right, but still no riven mod opening.

Now to be sure, I took some screenshots and want to know if I really did miss something or not.

As you can see in the second image, I had a 3.5x multiplier combo, with an active pet and 549 hits in, still no Riven Mod quest finished.

I kinda wasted 30 minutes of my time on this + the post itself (still with no riven mod opened) and would like to know if it's a bug or not.

Hello,

Carrier Prime isn't a pet, it's a sentinel. You need a pet: kavat, kubrow or helminth charger, equipped.
