Warframe keeps uninstalling randomly

Every once in a while, I'll launch warframe, and steam just pops open the "You are about to install Warframe" window. Apparently, the game just likes to delete itself for no gosh dang reason. Is this a steam problem or a 'got-damn DE' problem? Steam does this with none of my other games so I have no idea what this is.

if you shut down your PC while steam is running in the background it happens. Happened to me couple of times.

Yeah, if it really drives you up the wall and keeps happening, you can install warframe separately from steam to avoid the issue altogether.
