Enemies spawning in ceilings slows everything down

Corrupted Corpus Nullifier spawns in the ceiling where I can't reach it. It's on top of three layers of decorative pipes as well as the bulkhead wall, weapons with punch-through aren't going to touch it. It's a nullifier, ability use isn't an option. Exterminate Objective marker won't stop pointing to it. New batches of enemies don't seem to want to spawn until I take care of this thing. Aborting the mission and retrying isn't appetising because chances are high it'll only happen again. This is a problem with every tileset that isn't wide open (planet surface, asteroid mine, basically anything that isn't a ship).

Why is this in Feedback? Because it's an issue that's existed since the launch of Void Fissure missions. A long time. So it must be a feature, right? Well my feedback is that it's a feature that might do with a little tweaking.

We've had 'features' last for 2+ years that turned out to actually be bugs, perseverance is the key when reporting issues, I guess.  Anyway I posted the same thing as a bug and linked your thread there.
