Gmon3y Posted July 18, 2013 Share Posted July 18, 2013 I recently learned about a weapon that the samurai and ninja used in feudal japan. it is the kasurigama which is a sickle attached to a rope or chain with a weight at the end. in battle the ropes weighted end would be thrown to basically lasso an opponent then the warrior would strke with the sickle. what if the sickle were replaced and then swung from the chain for a god of war-ish kind of weapon. could be pretty neat Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Maybe they're stuck at the animations of this weapon? Animating a free moving chain attached to a weighted weapon such as a scythe would be nothing short of HELL to animate properly.
