Help with Ether Daggers Riven

Question

So i had a riven which gave me 320% melee damage when maxed and extra combo duration. But i rerolled it and got one which gives me 226% melee damage and 130% cold with 120% heat. My question is, is that around 100% extra melee damage going to be more than the combined damage from the cold and heat? Of course i foolishly saw the extra elemental damage and thought this is better without questioning that before i accepted the rerolled riven but i want to know if its worth trying to reroll to find a higher straight melee damage.

Hard to answer without testing, really. Most people go for elements, i go for crit (when possible on the weapon) and melee damage with no elements and no combo stuff. But on a single dagger it's somewhat hard. If you use it for 1-hit-killing with that one syndicate mod, i think lethal fatality was the name of it, i'd go for melee damage. If you use it just for slashing them i'd go with element.

The first one seems cool too because the negative only affect the slide attack crit chance so he normal attacks still have chance unaffected to hit crit. The second one nice too but the finisher damage is negative so had problems to do finisher kills so you probably will use it thiis to do raw damage or channelled attacks. I would stick with the first but the second can be stll useful.

Welp i went with the second one, hopefully that was the right choice but i guess it doesnt really matter what the right choice was now.

Unfortunately ether daggers are a dual dagger(s) so covert lethality cannot be used on them

The Ether Daggers have a 5% crit-chance with a 1.5x multiplier and a 15% status chance which I would consider worth going for - so the only thing I'd consider useful is raw DPS be it base damage, attackspeed or elemental damage. Considering you are already using

[Prime Pressure Point], [Primed Fury] and [Primed Reach] in addition to 4 90%-elemental mods or 3 90%-elemental mods and [Body Count] depending on the Riven you only have one slot left and thats of course the Riven mod. One could do some calculations but one can also use the "Warframe Builder".

So here are 2 build the way I would play the Ether Daggers:

You can check out the individual stats by yourself if u wish but to make it short in terms of sustained DPS:

1st Riven  1615 DPS
2nd Riven 1818 DPS
*without the melee counter bonus

Would it not be better to use jagged edge and/or buzzkill? Rather than the elemental damage, i was under the impression that physical damage was worth more than elemental, please correct me if i am wrong though.
