TITAN Warframe (Artillery and offensive support)

TITAN

Heavy-artillery Warframe

Short description
There are some Warframes already which have a certain touch of a heavy gunner and fighter but then again, it is only rudimentary. TITAN is supposed to be a heavy Warframe fighter which supports gunfights excelling in area of effect, suppression fire and high damage output.

Skills

All skills are supposed to help accelerating the enemy annihilation. The whole set up is very offensive and only has few defensive abilities.

Passive skill: AMMO CAPACITOR

All full-auto weapons used by TITAN have increased firerate and will consume 1/5 less ammo.

This will boost the weapon based playstyle of TITAN since you can now go on barrage mode with your weapons and deal tremendous damage but you will also have a better ammo efficiency.

1st skill: LOCKING ON

Targeting AI locks TITAN onto a single enemy for 20 seconds within 15/18/21/23 meters, marking them through walls and obstructed terrain and on your mini-map with a special icon. You can lock onto 1/2/3/4 targets. Each target will take+15/20/35/50 percent increased damage from all attacks originated from TITAN. If a target is killed while LOCKING ON is active, half the spent energy is being refunded to the Warframe‘s energy pool. If an enemy leaves TITANs affinity range the effect ends immediately, also effects such as Nullifier bubbles, blinding Titan and other effects affecting orientation will disrupt the Locking On.

Augment idea: SHARED VISION

Enables allies to see enemies on the map and through walls as well and enables them to get 10/20/35/50% of the damage bonus that TITAN is receiving against locked targets.

2nd skill: SUPPRESSION FIRE

Imbues Warframe energy into your currently equipped gun for 10 seconds. While active the gun cannot be switched with another weapon. While active, the equipped weapon gains punchthrough of 2 meters, has doubled flight speed, increased accuracy and less recoil. While active the weapon does not require any ammo to fire. But when the skill is deactivated either be running out, by pressing the key again or by being disrupted by Nullifiers the current magazine is set to 0 rounds forcing a reload.

Min-Max

Strength:

Affected: Flight Speed, Punch Through

Unaffected: Accuracy and Recoil reduction

Range has no effects on this skill.

Duration affects ability duration

Augment idea: BARRAGE

For each second active the effects of SUPPRESION FIRE increase in their strength, resulting in an increase in bonus punchthrough, flight speed, accuracy and recoil reduction. The ammo reduction will not be affected. The bonus gain over time is affected by Power Strength for Flight Speed and Punch Through.

3rd skill: GRENADE

Throws a grenade towards the area. The grenade will explode always 5 seconds after pressing the key. You can hold the key to delay the throw so that after the grenade is thrown it will shorten the span after which the grenade will explode. If TITAN is still holding the grenade when the grenade goes of TITAN will take the damage. The grenade will deal 150/175/200/250 damage consisting of explosion and puncture damage.

Augment idea: Cluster Grenade

Upon explosion the grenade will fragment itself into 1/2/3/4 additional grenades that will jump skywards and deal damage after colliding with something dealing each 50/60/75/100 explosion damage.

4th skill ARTILLERY

Fires an explosive shell from the Warframes back directed towards the aiming reticule dealing 250/325/400/500 explosive damage upon impact. If there are targets being affected with LOCKED ON the artillery shell will not be a straight flying projectile but a homing projectile. The ability can be charged by holding the key increasing the projectile speed and turning speed of the projectile by up to 100%. While SUPPRESSION FIRE is active the projectile is affected by the bonus effects such as increased Flight Speed.

Unaffected: Number of shrapnell explosions

Range:

Affected: Explosion radius

Unaffected: Flight Speed

Duration:

Not affecting anything

Augment idea: IMPLOSION STRIKE

Upon impact the damage will delay the explosion by 3 seconds but will trigger a wide area implosion effect dragging enemies into the center. The area is always 1x, 1.05x, 1.1x, 1.15x the explosion range of the ability. Increased ability range increases the range multiplier.

I'm just here for a name suggestion, since Titan really sounds like Titania, we don't want to mix things up by accident.

Torment, not only taken from the english verb, but also from the latin word "tormenta", which is literally translated into "artillery", so i think this name fits very well, with both meanings.

Whats tat name of zeus's father?

Cronus yea tat name. wonder has it been taken yet?

 

an idea came to mind if he mainly is for support and ARTILLERY

his forth should be able to boost the bombardment mode, like for example and ablility to morph into an expanded frame, making him bigger and and able to deal more damage or fire off more shots. a silly idea is more like a mobile mortar placement. might work well for POE 

 

all your suggested abilities are very good.
