The_Markness
Sometimes I get cornered or in a tight space and they start to pummle me, would be nice if I was able to block melee damage somewhat with my melee weapon. This'll be especially nice if there will be PVP or melee-style bosses :)

ap0k41yp5
Warcalibur ! But yes that could be nice, but you should only be able to parry light attacks, else flameblades, powerfists, sawblades etc... will become really useless.

MJ12
Warcalibur ! But yes that could be nice, but you should only be able to parry light attacks, else flameblades, powerfists, sawblades etc... will become really useless. In games like Metal Gear Solid: Rising and Devil May Cry, you 'block' a melee attack by doing one during the middle of the enemy animation. This is probably a better mechanic than 'hold to block' for Warframe and look way cooler. It adds a higher skill ceiling for the game and looks good, and also means you don't need to implement an additional key for blocking, which is a bonus. Bonus points if you're allowed to do the same thing against non-hitscan weapons. Edited December 28, 2012 by MJ12
ap0k41yp5
I'd prefer a separate blocking key, but with a timed parry system, like you can find in Chivalry per example, not a dull "hold to block" mechanic.
