Mission Hazards Improvement

Hi,

 

I like the new Nightmare System and i think the same would be great for the hazards.

 

Right now its random and you can just restart the mission. Why not make it so the mission is an Ice mission for 1h and then it changes or so.

That way you could actually mod up for extreme environments and make use out of the mods you get in the void.

They would need to buff those element resist mods though, they are pretty bad lol. Try watch the live stream 10 though, they talk a bit about more enviroment stuff, such as people suggesting a sand storm etc.

The sand storm would only work for the new planned environment of the Grineer Outpost. They got that suggestion a while back when they first announced they would do something on a desert planet theme. Will be awesome when its out.

since ice level is based from ice-element. and there's 4 currently excluding AP and others. ice/fire/poison/lighting

currently: ice level = cut your max shield by 50%

why not make fire level = stamina usage double while running/dodge or something which use stamina.

for poison level = put puddle/area of poison/acid in the gaming map, which decrease the health by X per second for 4 seconds?

for lighting = lets put short-circuit'ed electrical current from wires and stuff which continuous draining your shield while in the affected area?

 

as for some other non-element environment,

black-out = decrease all light sources brightness to the point of running/dashing into a wall

low-gravity/floating/swimming = reduce gravity to a point like it's in real-space.

 

of course, increase the chance of getting some other loots or additional item from such events. if not players will re-start the mission untill it's normal.
