TucsonKaHN
I just wanted to share some thoughts on the new content I have experienced so far. I know that there are a LOT of other priorities going on with fixing and improving the game following the release of the Plains update, so I say this knowing it probably will take a backseat. As a laptop player, I have again had to fiddle around with my display settings (much like what happened with Earth Remastered). The new content looks absolutely beautiful, and the Plains feel much more optimized than the remastered Earth tile set did when it was released. What I am noticing, however, is that I still have a lower frame rate than I would in other (most likely older) tile set. Additionally, loading times transitioning between the Cetus Ostron Colony and the Plains proper can be rather lengthy at the moment compared to loading into WarFrame's more traditional mission nodes. Is this strictly a result of older systems (hereby referred to as "toasters") having less processing power or graphics capability? Or is there anything else that can be done to reduce the length of this transition? What further optimization can [DE] implement to improve the experience of visiting the Plains? Godzilla853
What they could do is give a disable grass sway and grass option but Seperate.
uscoastguard
Optimizing your game cache can help improve loading times.
TucsonKaHN
@uscoastguard Thanks for the suggestion, but I already do this after any hotfix, right after verifying my cache. That doesn't seem to be the issue, from what I can see.
