When will we be able to disable combat music

I personally never enjoyed the combat music in this game, but I do like the ambient soundtrack in the background. However, the ambient music is being interrupted by enemies all the time.

 

Right now I have muted the music completely (muted in 4 years I have played) due to this imbalance within ambience and combat music that constantly jumping and shifting back and forth.

 

I know I’m being picky here but, I thought this would come sooner or later, but I was wrong.

i dont play with music either, but only because i like listening to my own.  combat music is there to warn you of the threat, enemies don't show on mini map unless you have radar mods or banshee/ivara.  however I'm with the fixing how it goes in and out.

The ambient and combat music system is tied together so there currently isn't a way to mute one vs. the other.
