Suggestions To Make Defense Missions More Enjoyable/interesting

So we know they get pretty dang boring and tedious after a while, what about adding some sort of bonus objectives to defense missions?

 

5% bonus exp for keeping it above 25% health

10% bonus exp for keeping it above 50% health

15% bonus exp for keeping it above 75% health

25% bonus for keeping it undamaged (undamaged as in no direct health damage)

(an alternative could also be to reach wave 5/10/15/20 as a prerequisite for each tier, then depending on the pods health you would get the appropriate bonus. You reach wave 30 but only managed to keep pod health above 50%, you only get the 10% bonus)

 

Percentages are just examples to illustrate a point. Obviously it would have to be balanced so that it is not efficient to do 5 waves, keep the pod undamaged and get massive exp then leave. Perhaps have another multiplier for how many waves you last. Keep the pod undamaged + staying 30 waves would give a higher bonus than staying 5 waves and keeping it undamaged.

 

Or maybe add some other unique rewards exclusive to defense missions that you have a chance at getting for each bonus tier. 25% tier you'd have a chance at receiving 'x', 'y', 'z' rare mods after extraction, 15% tier you'd have a chance at receiving 'a', 'b', 'c' uncommon mods after extraction. Or maybe some "dangly bits" you can only get from defense missions.

 

Right now that's all I can really think of to try and maybe make them more interesting but any sort of bonus objectives to strive for would be nice.

Personally giving the pods something like the orokin defense with a timed ability IE snowglobe that you  just press the button for, so no one HAS to be frost but you get that on the pod if someone stick to it.  (button would be on the pod it is a cryo pod soooo why not snowglobe? or some shield sort of thingy like snowglobe.)
