How the hell is Raid least popular? It's Rescue and Spy that are. Nobody likes baby sitting an useless derp NPC and Spy missions remove your pirmary weapon without droping the data mass. The datamass which, if you drop it, has a chance of falling through the map and ruining the mission. D:

 

Raid is fine. I'm not sure what they think is wrong with it or why they need less game modes.

this, I prefer raid over spy or rescue any day

You do realize Mobile Defense is Defense while moving around, right? Let's take that out too.

 

And the new Lotus Escort is Rescue backwards. Let's take Rescue out.

Except Mob Def and Def have tangible differences. Time limit vs endless waves, map layouts, etc.

 

Capture and Raid were both "Go to point X, press Use, extract". They were mechanically identical.

 

And you don't even know the details of the new Deception mission. I mean holy S#&$ complaining about stuff that hasn't been implemented?

Maybe make Raid more difficult? This is ridiculous though. I thought you guys were on the right track with the changes made to the Aura system but this is ridiculous.

What makes it ridiculous? they have stats showing that it is the least played mission...meaning people play all the other missions more why is removing the least played mission bad?

Ok you're being really really stupid here.

The potatoes were just a bad consequence of a less-than-perfect drop system. They fixed the goddamn drop system.

 

And seriously holy S#&$ give DE some credit they ain't @(*()$ EA.

When's the last time you've seen a tater drop not after a live stream? Brother we're still in the tater famine.

possibly raid is the least played in Online mode, but I'm fairly certain its in the top 3 for solo mode. As said many times before, rescue is the worst mission type there is right now. personally I refuse to do secondary objectives if it turns out to be a rescue

So you're saying Raid and Capture have the same map layout? Okay.

 

Defending is defending. The differences are minimal and endless defense does the "defend this" gimmick much better. Off with Mobile.

 

Where the hell am I complaining? I'm saying that in theory the new mission is similar to Rescue, but backwards, so why have both?

I don't remember the last but I do remember a tater drop right before the alert system changes.

 

But OH WAIT, NOBODY EVER COUNTS THAT TATER BECAUSE IT'S SIMPLER TO KEEP WHINING ABOUT THE FAMINE.

They are supposed to be rare drops for F***'s sake.

On the account of REMOVE KEBAB, i'll say this: REMOVE RESCUE.

 

We hate escort missions, any game with escort missions is bound to be hated for it. Don't whip out BioShock infinite, that's designed to be handholding you through the whole thing. No, i do not want a paper-lotus telling me things i already know, or throw ammo at me i probably won't use.

 

Give us Henchmen ala GW or Heroes ala GW Nightfall expansion, but not a friggin ESCORT, again.

 

REMOVE ESCORT

REMOVE RESCUE

REMOVE KEBAB

 

KEEP RAID. It's fairly apparent that you either didn't check very hard, or found that Raid is the MOST FARMED mission type for RESOURCES. I wonder, what might the tactic be, really now.

What's wrong with raid again? Can't have more gametypes? Just introduce more and stop removing(or remove rescue in the current form, it's really REALLY annoying.)

 

I really hate how DE is handling things. Without enough shouting and raising awareness, it's like they don't even know what to do with the game itself. Remove? Move? Buff? Nerf?(Always nerf). Don't turn this into another Aura system kind of debate where mustard and regular funderz, along with some regular players spout "challenge", "muh powercreep", "balance". No thank you. I want my fun, like my fun, and really want my fun to stay.

All Caps is hardly a good argument, though. Makes him look like a child.

He's not attempting to make a good argument, he's mocking the people claiming they know better for a fact because reasons. And I saw several people say DE is wrong and give no proof other than they like raid and they disagree.

 

DE has the numbers to back up their decision, random people on the internet do not so adamantly claiming DE is flat out wrong is just asinine.

Yeah. That's the straw that broke the camels back.

 

They refuse to do anything to enrich the game experience, only add faux layers of complexity. All we've ever seen from the design team are more shields, more damage.

 

They want to force you into 15-20 minutes per mission. They want to stretch everything they have out, as far as they can. And even these incremental updates are moving at a glacial pace as it is.
