[Stalker] Stalker Reinforcements ( 2 More Stalkers)

Why ? 

With the new additions to warframes and the balance changes between them its seems that the stalker is no longer as potent or a force to be reckoned with as in the past. 

Teams can easaly take out the stalker , even if poorly equipped considering 1 will kite him. 

EVEN 2 man teams can kill him , from which one tenno can be poorly equppied. 

 

So i suggest that the number of stalkers be increased .

Be it proportional to the no. of warframes available ... or o strict no. (3)

That can appear at random between (1 and all 3)

 

Advantages : 

- diversity amongst stalkers (visually)

- diversity in combating the stalkers 

- more challenging to fight and deal with.

- random no. of stalkers encounters (1 , 2 or even 3 to assassinate you at the same time)

- random no. of stalker encounters during diffrent portions of the mission (rare, and 1 at a time only)

- diversity in rewards 

- brings a random variable to each mission.

- will increase teamwork to tennos.

- added difficulty brings more excitement

- Stalkers still outnumbered 3 to 4 (in the worse case)

- new lore 

- new quotes 

 

Disatvantages : 

- higher difficulty 

- soloing and meeting by chance 3 stalkers will be deadly.

- while it increases teamwork , it also increases bad behavior from other players. (worst case)

- more content needed to individualize them

- more stalker items as rewards (not necessarily weapons)

- diversity in combating the stalkers . Some methods work on 1 and not the other.

(- Santa stalker is more deadly )

 

The other 2 stalker :

 

Female stalker [suggestion]:

A stalker that is more sniper oriented , utilizing abilitys and weapons for that purpose.

This is a stalker that keeps her distance and as opposed the the 1st (original ) stalker you have the find her. 

Abilitys : 

- Vouban Tesla (that can slow you down)

- Loki stealth (to relocate)

- Mag bullet attractor OR Nova Black Hole (Mobility or more Damage)

- Nyx Absorb (when heavaly damaged)

 

Advantages : 

- diversity in approach 

- diversity in combat

- different appearance

- Sniper stalker

- Abilitys are designed to slow you down and maximize damage. 

- Stealth allows her to escape to relocate for a different angle to snipe you.

 

Disadvantages : 

- not as durable as the original stalker 

- diversity in rewards 

- requires large landscapes 

- puts tesla balls that slows along your designated path to slow you down

 

 

(One of the most fearsome forces on the battlefield is a sniper. )

 

Bloodthurst stalker [suggestion]:

A stalker that has AOE skills and is more dirrect in approch. Utilizing malee weapons as the main preference.

A louder stalker that prefers to loose stealth and gain armor and durability

Abilitys : 

- frost freeze 

- Rhino Iron skin (have a 5% reflect dmg)

- Volt speed

- Banshee silence (to silence abilitys of tennos for a short time)

 

Advantages: 

- diversity in approach 

- diversity in combat

- different appearance

- A tank stalker

- Abilitys help bridge the gap and silence abilitys for a short duration

- Reflect damage

 

Disadvantages

- stalker will not freeze primary target (unless he is solo) , only 1 other tenno

- uses mainly malee weapons

- diversity in rewards 

 

In conclusion 

 

I consider this suggestion as a way to diversify and increase the threat the stalker poses. At the same time adding new factors to the game both in methodology and in difficulty . Making team work more important in taking down a team of stalkers. New stalker also present other possibilities for new weapons , rewards and future events.

To be honest I'd rather have assasins from other factions and minor factions to spice things up. Stalker as in "that weird Tenno dude that thinks universe is not grateful for the death of Phorid" is nice but as long as he is the only wierdo.

 

I mean your female stalker can easily be an "Elite Ballista From Asskickery Corps" tasked to take down Tenno everywhere. Or Bloodthrust could be a random thug jacked up with Corpus implants and working for a no-name no-face Corpus scientist collecting Warframes for "science reasons".

 

edit: Note for the above about Powers; it is a given Warframe powers are not exclusive to Warframes but so very rare for other factions to have them. So Assasins/Stalkers that are not Tenno using them is not a strecth of imagination.

Why not just take existing skills and make them do what they actually do, instead of putting odd twists on them that essentially turns it into a different skill altogether?

 

Like Heavy Stalker's Silence, IMHO it should silence his weapon sounds, and remove the 'damage direction indicator'.

He casts silence, shoots us, and we don't know where he is shooting us from, while he rushes to us with Volt's Speed.\

 

Light Stalker's Tesla should just be Tesla (damage), or Bounce to toss us about while she shoots at us with her OP sniper.

 

And I've mentioned this in anoter "More Stalkers!" suggestion thread, these should still come at us solo no matter the amount of players, but have the 'type' be chosen randomly.

Light flicker > first taunt > second > taunt > third taunt > 'Normal' stalker spawns nearby and keeps moderate range, Sniper Stalker spawns one room away and never comes X meters close to you, and Tank Stalker spaws one room away, and approaches rapidly.

This way you KNOW a Stalker is coming, but not which.

I disagree about them being other faction, stalker never belong to others, was just hiered , but implants from other factions  100% ok with it. Not a bad idea !

About power , thought it would help make them more unique. But yes , as they are should be ok too.

About Bounce however would be too annoying .... at least in my oppinion . You have to get to her eventually no ? 

 

I didint write how they appear , because if its a good idea and they put it in , DE will think that through and/or change stuff.  But i liked how you imagined it ... its a gives a whole dynamic to the event , and makes it more alert. :)

More than one stalker , among other benefits, would resolve the problem of him being weak . As a team its whole diffrent story and you probably dont want to stay there the whole day to kill them , or being raised back to life from others.

 

Yeah it would be a quick way to fix it , but all in all stalker wont be that entertaining after you meet him over and over. 

Randomly getting 1 stalker , or more always has its own beauty. 

 

 

All in all thanks for the comments and ideas(they are very nice) and im glad im not the only one who would like more stalkers.
