(XBOX)JoeABroke
Hello everyone! After playing many hours in the POE I believe that the drop ships are very strong and also very powerful. I think a good way to change the issue of my constant deaths and bombardments on others is a solution of having the turrets on the ships to be able to be blown off so they are defenseless. Maybe an armor reduction? It's something I have been thinking of for a while. Let me know what you think, thank you.

Only one drop ship has a turret, and you can destroy it so that it is unable to shoot at you.
(PSN)Voidkraken
All of the Plains dropships can be taken down with ease using a strong, long range weapon. I personally favour the Opticor for this job, as it's fully charged shot with the right build can one shot troop carriers (not always, as they level up it can take 2-3 shots depending on where you hit and if you get lucky with crit/multishot), and the attack ship that fires at you is almost always a two shot job with this weapon. A well set up sniper rifle, or even a bow, can do the same job (the bow is a little trickier with the dropoff). If you are new/low MR, it's possible that you might not have suitable weapons or mods to reduce the threat of these ships yet, especially if you're diving into higher tier bounties in the Plains where they become a lot tougher - keep progressing through the system map and this will change!
