Here's my other thread with weapon and enemy suggestions: https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/89217-ill-just-leave-these-here-weapon-and-enemy-suggestions/ Here's my other thread with some generic boss concepts: https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/90771-generic-boss-time-boss-concepts/ All of these I'm constantly updating :) So, here's my idea for a new gametype: Ambush -An enemy convoy is moving through a canyon-like area, moving valuable artifacts -transporters are escorted by large security force -each transporter destroyed = one item (possibly eight total transporters per mission) -Warframe Pod = Warframe BPs -Artifact container = Mods -Large Crate = other items (Forma, Keys, etc) -Grineer Miner = large material reward -Transporters destroyed only by special explosive, one for each player, and must be defended for a time (max four rewards) -enemy driver must be killed before planting explosive, other enemies can (and will) replace drivers -difficulty ramps up with time -mission ends when all explosives are detonated or all remaining transporters flee -an alternative to farming defense (crossed out as alt version, I feel, is superior) some concept art: Alternative Concepts Alternative idea: -players have unlimited explosives, but only one can be planted at a time -each destroyed transporter = increase in enemy strength and numbers -if one transporter escapes, mission ends, rewards claimed -(hopefully) a frantic balance between defending explosives, killing enemy drivers, and preventing being overrun by mobs -possible ship pick-up for destroyed transporters? (flies over and captures similar to capturing Corpus Crewman) -Perhaps an Alert-only mission (thanks to Yanga for the idea) Corpus Variant: -Corpus Maglev train with ten cars plus the main engine -Must detach carts one-by-one to gain rewards (like Grineer version) -Based on a time limit -corpus ships will fly by to drop reinforcements Corpus Train Tenno Ship Fly-by capture I hope you'll leave me some feedback and if you like them, spread the word ;) Edited August 6, 2013 by EVAtemplar117 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

xanroth Posted August 3, 2013 Share Posted August 3, 2013 this sounds really interesting actually hope the devs use this and just a thought here but maybe those explosives could be used as mines to? so if a transport runs over one it will be disabled. and maybe the enemy reinforcements could arrive on some sort of grineer apc? anyhow yours is a great suggestion and i for one hope the devs see it and add it. The first transporter would practically be free, afterwards the difficulty would ramp up really quick, and would work on the teir system, so the best rewards are gained from destroying later transporters (if using alt. version) this sounds really interesting actually hope the devs use this and just a thought here but maybe those explosives could be used as mines to? so if a transport runs over one it will be disabled. and maybe the enemy reinforcements could arrive on some sort of grineer apc? anyhow yours is a great suggestion and i for one hope the devs see it and add it. This would just encourage people to do what they do on Xini... first five waves then leave hoping to get the reward they wanted to get. They'll just keep re-running the mission until they get lucky [until they get something they can use and keep Grinding for it].
