J.C.Santos
Seems about right to me. I'm planning going for the same mods on mine (with Hellfire instead of Wildfire, personal preference).
Kahtrina
Why not both wildfire and hellfire?
Chris9428
Why not both wildfire and hellfire? I might try how that'd work out. Though, every faction except infested has a pretty high resistance vs fire.
Darzk
Ammo mutation, Fast Hands, or Hellfire imo Not Hellfire if bringing this into the void, the infested's there are probably the rarest unit. Ammo mutation if your pistol is crappy or you always run ooa, fast hands for a quicker reload speed.
Darzk
2 Vs and a - 60 Points Barrel Diffusion - 8 (V) Serration - 7 (V) Stormbringer - 6 ( - ) Piercing Hit - 9 Wildfire - 9 Speed Trigger - 9 Cryo Rounds - 9 Fast Hands - 3 The last 12 points to split between Cryo Rounds and Fast Hands *could* use a Forma I suppose - Personally I would just use a lower ranked Cryo Rounds and a mid-ranked Fast Hands. Chris9428
I guess I'm going for an ammo conversion mod. The reload speed on it is pretty fast already.
Nantlais
3 formas on one weapon, if omly i had that kind of free time
Chris9428
3 formas on one weapon, if omly i had that kind of free time I just added a 5th Forma. Anyways, this weekend > 2 Kappa runs = maxed out weapons. Doesn't even take too much time. 1 Kappa run usually takes 10 - 15 minutes.
Wertron
this is the Mod loadout I'm aiming for in my Braton Prime (think 4 Forma is needed) Serration Split Chamber Wildfire Hellfire Piercing Hit Cryo Rounds Storm Bringer Faction Damage (depending on Mission) / Fast Hands / Ammo Drum (currently I burn ammo fast)
Tulzscha
My 6x Forma'ed Braton Prime, YMMV. This was really easy for me to do during the quad affinity weekend. :) I needed that much Forma to be able to put in all the damage mods and to be flexible enough for a max Metal Auger vs. Infested. V - Serration max (7) V - Split Chamber max (8) V - Bane of Corpus/Grineer/Infested max (5) -- - Piercing Hit max (5) -- - Hellfire max (6) -- - Stormbringer max (6) Cryo Rounds max (9) Wildfire max (9) Total mod points:
Strykar
To max elemental damage on any rifle takes 5 Forma, this allows 2 empty weapon mod slots to use, fill these 2 to taste and situation. The Braton Prime is well worth 5 Forma IMHO, I prefer using it over my Supra. The Ogris and Torid likewise are strong candidates for 5 Formas. You are right that Kappa will let you level the weapon quickish, but to answer the perpetual question, "Should I invest 5 Forma on this weapon?", the answer is do you think it's amazing, if yes, do it. 30 and 60 mod point builds listed at http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Braton_Prime_Build
Chris9428
I already put a 5th Forma on it. I didn't know the event would last till Monday, that's why I wasn't sure about a 5th one. Anyways, I also prefer the Braton Prime over Supra, Ogris and Acrid. It's extremely fun to use right now. I may think about a 6th forma, in case DE is going to buff metal auger, lol.
