Jäger WIP

Pronounced yay-gur
alrternativly: Shützen (shoot-zen)
In all of military history weapon technology has been the great equalizer. For the few who possess the superior weapons, it is possible to face the many. Jäger, the rifleman is ready to level the playing field.
Appearance
Jäger has an amalgamation of formal military infantryman style. From classic long bowmen, through Victorian era, into 21st century.

Passive
Bandolier
The use of the power primer stores a charge, for Crit damage 10%, that can stack ten times to apply with the power Barrage. Using the power Engage stores a charge, for Crit chance 10%, that stacks up to ten times. Is applied with the power Barrage. When Barrage duration is over the stack is reset to zero.
Resupply
On ammo pickup 50% chance to double the ammo. Duplicate ammo can be picked up by allies.


Powers


Primer [25]

Alters next shot from primary. 

Adds 5 meter punch through

Boosts Status Chance, Status Duration, Flight Speed, 15% at base cast time, up to 30% charged cast 2 seconds. Scales with Power Strength. 

Each use of primer adds to the critical chance bank. 

Cast time 2.5 seconds at base.


Engage [50]
Butt strikes, pistol whips or otherwise attacks an enemy that comes too close. Targeted enemy will be left open to finisher attach and is stunned. Enemies up to a base of 4 meters have a 40% chance for same effect, otherwise they will have a minor impact proc effect.

All incoming damage within the range is negated during Engage animation  

Each kill on inflicted enemy while under this status effect adds to the critical chance bank. Cast animation is as long as the attack animation. Can be used while using Primer to defend without interrupting Primer.


Precision [Channelling]
While active this power slows enemies that are targeted, by the aiming reticule. 30% slow at base, 1/2 effect if not aiming down sights.  Base 7 energy per second.

Gains 15% Increased Accuracy and Recoil Reduction when crouching. 


Barrage [100]

Jager enters a combat zen focusing on perfect battle space awareness and weapons handling. 

Can cycle power Effect by selecting between the following buffs: Firerate, Reload Speed, Multishot, increased by 15% at base cast time. Charged cast up to 30% bonus for additional 2.0 seconds casting time. Base cast time is 0.75 seconds. 

Bonus effected by Power strength. 

Cast time affected by cast time Mods. Can use Engage while casting to defend, without interrupting Barrage cast.    

Enjoys the stacked Critical Damage and Critical Chance bonus from Bandolier passive for the duration of the Barrage. Base duration is 10 seconds. Using any of the first three powers delays the duration count down, and keeps adding to the Bandolier stack. 

Bandolier stack is reduced by 1 each every 3 seconds, but using Primer and Engage can keep stacking, even beyond the normal 10 banked. 

When Barrage is active, allies enjoy 1/2 the buff of Barrage within a 5 meter base 10 meter cast charged fully in base range, scales with range Mods.

-Stats are crazy high.

-Passive should just be resupply, adding 100% crit chance seems like it could quickly become op with all the other buffs he gains. 

-Engage seems like it has duration on it? Like after cast the effect lasts a few seconds? Otherwise it seems like won't be very effective unless it's really close combat.

-Suggest that you decrease the 30% buffs, all together they add such ridiculously powerful buffs.

I do love the idea of a literal WAR-frame, and think there's a lot of potential in this idea. I'd suggest almost aiming for more of a serious support frame that gains from having allies (an army> a single soldier).

I of course just wanted to get the ideas out, and haven't had a chance to really think out the balance. I will need to make some clarifications. The initial idea is to balance the idea of priming with having a long, and vulnerable, cast time for a devastating payoff. It is only effective on one shot, also and then must be recast. Engage is to slightly offset this, by allowing you to, engage as it where, for time enough to get Primer off. Bandolier, is a special passive for stacking effects on barrage. Perhaps the buff stack is too high, but other warframes can build large buff with their powers. Also, modding doesn't effect the stack bonus. So, the +100% is it.

After some consideration. I have cut the base in half with the potential of reaching 30% if the player charges the casting animation, like Hydroid. For Burrsge, you have to select the buff. Badolier now slowly burns off while Barrage is active, but can be kept up by using the 1 and 2. 

Hopefully, this creates more of the minuteman feel, as the player buffs and stacks, while protecting oneself from enemies that would try to take advantage of the players long cast animations.

The Tudor

Jager brings the Tenno Rifle Spear with unique mechanics. 

Single shot innate punch through that does additional damage with each enemy it hits.

Thrown creates a radiation blast. Then pulses energy revealing enemy locations for 12 seconds, even through walls.
