Can we get a glimpse into the past?

So some of us have missed the train and hopped on a lot later. We gathered bits and pieces about what happened from the story, but then, curious about the lore too, not just the shoot and loot aspects, we reach to wiki. So many events have scarred the Origin System that we didn't get to be a part of.

So I was thinking. What if there would be a way for new players to get a taste of what happened? We have the cephalon fragments mechanic that can assist with that. But visually maybe, instead of a cephalon fragment, it could be a remnant of whatever even it relates to - a corpus helmet, a grineer chest armor, a half-mutaded moa corpse. We'd rarely find one of these on the planet(s) where an event took place or ended (a very low chance, so it can't be rushed to completion). And after a few scans, we could get a codex entry for that event.

The codex entry could be either a quest chain that we could experience. We'd start by embodying the warframes that fought in the event (that is - maybe changing the drop from the ceiling mission start cinematic). The reward tables of the events would have to be cleaned of event-specific drops, so that it doesn't impact the game's economy. Instead, we be gaining codex entries for the said event and get to see cinematics of them in their universe (rather than on youtube). Event's missions' access should be restricted to players who have completely scanned the fragments for that event. If a mission rerun would be possible, the next mission might require another set of codex scans of yet another item related to the story.

Or we could just get codex entries with text and/or cinematics about how that event went and concluded.

As for the more... physical rewards... maybe ship decoration items - the ones we scanned and/or images related to the events to hang on the walls, so that veteran players could still get something out of the scanning and/or rerunning the event's missions.
