I have a problem with the current state of clans...I think?

DE hasnt done much for clans ingame in a long while now. Even last operation lacked leaderboards and was more of a overglorified tactical alert. Clan's have to create their own stuff to make themselfs stand out. Discord, clan events, teaching players iniciatives... it's all ways to fill the hole that DE doesn't bother to do much about.

Right now, if your looking for a clan to help in terms of geting stuff/advice, you should look for those clans that advertise themselfs as such, there are alot of clans (specially moon tier) that despite having high numbers don't really carry much of a community feel to it, alot of people feel the need to create clans and fill them up just for the sake of it. But like (PS4)Taishin_Ishu above said very well, there is a few ways you can tell if a clan is worth it or not.

Right now, as much as it pains me to say it, clan's revolving around helping newer players are probably the only thing you can really go for these days.
