Landcraft gameplay, how you see it?

Hello everyone !

One day in Warframe, we may have a new gameplay with it's own mechanics around landcrafts (like archwings and somehow operators).

How do you envision it? More like an horde shooter with a freelancer gameplay? more "simulator" with cockpit view rewarding a good aiming?

Let's discuss about it. :)

Indeed, but why not get wild with our imagination? :)

I'd love to get some space dogfight in warframe ! The problem would be to not get an "archwing, but with a liset". I think the kind of mission should be completely different from the current extermination/mobile defense we have right now.

For example, an "capitalship takedown" mission. You would need to destroy multiple parts (engines, shield generator, warp system...) and then focusing on a weak point to end it (Starlancer may talk to some people).

Another type of mission could be an "operative escort", where you need to bypass a fleet blocus with a cargoship. multiple interceptor would come, but you'll have to take care of torpedo incoming from afar.

The gameplay itself... I think the mechanic from Everspace would fit perfectly in Warframe. Tons of different weapons (and not only "anti-shield" vs "anti-hull"), ship with modules acting as "spells", also different ship with their own characteristic (and unique modules).

They're stealth craft. I could see it being a cool novelty as a way to fly between planets.

I honestly think that before ArchWing, they were going to make combat lisets, then realized that they would NEED to make tons of additional assets for enemies so they decided to just go with warframes in space.

Think about it

1. They gave us the ability to move liset in load screen as a way to test it out way before aw. It makes perfect sense, controlling our liset in space. They added animations and everything to it. I think it was under serious consideration.

2. The abilities are completely separate from warframes. This would make sense for an entire ship. We were all confused when they told us our flying warframes wouldn't use any of their own abilities.

3. The separation of weapons systems make sense too

My other conspiracy theory is that sharkwing was a shortcut to creating swimming and underwater attack animations.
