Security Cameras Should Be In Front Of The Door

I keep running into security cameras that are on the other side of the door. It makes you have to crouch down and crawl so you can just get an aim on it - sometimes running into the laser beams if your not careful. The cameras should either hang down so we can hit them without all that, or be placed on the side of the door as you approach it instead of the room you are trying to get into.

 

I'd like to add that sometimes small "treasure rooms" have laser fields - but there is no camera around - is that necessary?

One could argue that the camera IS on the front of the door. You're just on the other side of it.

 

On your second comment, when a camera detects you, all doorways will be locked by lasers. It doesn't matter if there is a camera around it or not.
