Mouse movement speed dropping massively after alt-tab

Since recently I have been under a bug that makes my mouse speed drop significantly after I alt-tab out of the game. It largely resembles a form of mouse acceleration where small movements do near nothing (slow movement at some point does not even move the in-game cursor).

Switching to windowed mode makes it so it does not happen in the menus and slightly in-game like it does in fullscreen but instead transfers it fully to in-game making it so I can barely move my camera.

Restarting the game fixes the problem.

It's weird as this is recent and I have used this same mouse for years now with no issues. (If anyone has a fix for this -even if temporary- then please do tell)
