LoveYourEnemy
I made a post in the Fan Concept forums that can be applied to the gameplay feedback forum. This Concept was a more dynamic and befitting boss battle for our new discovery of Phobos. This is a Genetically enhanced and mechanically augmented Dessert Skate. Tempera
Alternately, you could have a humanoid boss. Like this one. (Gun not to scale.) Edited August 13, 2013 by Tempera
LoveYourEnemy
Alternately, you could have a humanoid boss. Like this one. (Gun not to scale.) LOL. Alternately, I believe a non-humanoid Grineer boss would be a good change for the better, just to add some good variety to the game.
CY13ERPUNK
would totally luv a unique boss (and great concept art btw OP) BUT i also like the dbl boss action concept unfortunately i think the desert skates are a @(*()$ horrible enemy =[, just a S#&$ design all around, not threatening and just... meh =[ rays are for the water, sandrays? its been done b4 and they're always stupid how about something original? maybe even something that could actually survive in a desert environ, like some kind of insect, scorpion, or other arachnid, or a reptilian critter (tortoise-esque, horny devil, etc) or better yet, combine those neurons and make something never b4 seen/concieved just the skate/ray thing =[, really REALLY disappointed in DE with that =[
Destro6677
Why not a Grineer commander riding the sand ray? And, as some baiter posted in the forums, when the Grineer has lost enough health, the ray will rebel against its master and eat him. Heck, why not a Hellion riding the sand ray, who'll fight you one on one during the second stage of the battle when the ray goes underground? Excuse me for my continued references to others posts in the main thread. Edited August 13, 2013 by Destro6677
CaptainohCaptain
Well, I'd prefer some clone-producing machinery as boss of Phobos. Probably some GLaDOS-like thing.
