Taxon + Artax glitching out when hit with toxin

This is an issue I've been experiencing since I started playing in early March. When I'm using Taxon equipped with Artax, and it gets hit with a toxin attack (usually an AoE, but I'm not sure if that's necessary), it glitches out and spends the rest of the mission stuttering noisily and shooting its beam at my feet when it doesn't have an enemy target. This is extremely distracting and annoying, especially in a dark environment where the bright beam that's constantly flickering on keeps me from seeing anything else, and in missions where I have to pay attention to sound cues. I can replicate this fairly easily in the simulacrum by spawning a Nox and running into the goo bombs. The problem seems to be with the Taxon sentinel since the problem doesn't seem to occur using the Artax on the Helios, but I don't have another weapon I can test on the Taxon.
