Resource beacons vanishing early

So... the light beacons are now vanishing within moments of picking up a resource/mod. They used to stick around until all members of the squad picked it up.

Not being able to mark rare resources for team mates makes me a sad Tenno.

Could it be you were the last member from the squad to pick them up? Cause then, it's normal for the beacons to go off. If not, it's likely a bug.

I wouldn't need to mark them if the rest of the squad was in range to have already picked it up.

It's every mission every beacon every time. I'm not seeing any marked by others either, so willing to bet I'm not alone in this.

I noticed the same on PS4.  I turn around to look for the green drop so I can mark it and there is nothing.

I also noticed this change, and I actually prefer the way it used to be (where the rare resources would still have beacons even after being collected). Without the beacon lingering, I have no idea where the resource actually dropped, just the general area. Also I cannot waypoint directly on the resource to display to everyone in the squad that it is in fact a rare resource and not a random waypoint. Lastly, the waypoint used to disappear when everyone picked up the resource, but now it's impossible to know. 

Please change the beacons for the rare resources back!

I blame the auto-marking of syndicate medallions for this. Honestly, just make all rare resources/mods auto mark on first pick up and be done with it.
