Althix Posted August 20, 2013 Share Posted August 20, 2013 (edited) You know guys after playing quite a lot in this game i can't associate Tenno with Ninjas in any way possible. Apart from Loki and perhaps Ash Tenno forces consists of very straight forward &#! kicking frames. So for me Tenno is more like a field warrior rather than stealthy ninja who kills from behing, from darkness or by poison. Also ninjas with rocket launchers... nah not really. Even if Ogris is stealth weapon.. still... no. So as you may know in old Japan military forces in the field were carrying flags with distinctive colors and emblem. like those guys on a pic. So why instead of arm badge with clan emblen we would have such a banners on our frames backs. And to replace current clan badge emblem with personal emblem. What do you think? It would just be in the way. Two words: Orthos Prime. This would be enough to make your argument pointless. Not to offend you, please understand me right, but i mean seriously with weapons like Orthos, Reaper or Fragor you care about about rolling sliding or casting? Only a couple people out of the entire army would wear them to represent their faction or whatever. So to make your concept pointless, hardly anyone who wore these things actually fought, and they just stood around representing their clan. He was talking about size of a flag.Visually it is indeed can be a mess. I countered it with example of Orthos Prime. which is hardly a problem with current situation we have on out hands right? This is why his argument is invalid. Why you was thinking about combat use of those flags i have no idea. I think idea is decent at least.
