G3m1n1
I have a set of 4.1 speakers and Windows speaker config is set to quadraphonic. I have noticed that the majority of in-game sounds come from the rear speakers, even sounds which are clearly happening in front of my warframe. Most noticeable are NPC noises (footsteps, grunting, weapons, etc.) and environment noises. Over the course of a mission this becomes more noticeable as nearly all sounds start coming from the rear speakers. The only sound effects which seem to be unaffected are the sounds my warframe makes (reloading, melee strikes, abilities, sliding, etc.). Has anyone else noticed similar problems with multi-speaker configurations?
Gumrog
You are not alone!!! I have this sameproblem! I get deafened everfy time i get fired at or i get cloaked or shot at. Pretty much anything happening blasts through my rears. Have you found a solution yet?
G3m1n1
Nope, haven't found a solution to this yet. It must be something in Warframe, as different drivers, Windows configuration, etc. has not stopped or changed this for me. I had to use headphones for every survival mission last weekend because the barrage of sound coming from the rear channels was just too overpowering.
