Remaking connectors without having to remake the dojo

So a couple of friends and me started Warframe a week ago and we began construction on our asap. The numbers you see on the picture above are the order in which we constructed the rooms. Now I would like to change the 1st T connector we build (the one I marked in red) to a Cross-Connector so I can put an elevator behind it, but unfortunately I would have to destroy all the numbered rooms to do that because they are the child components of that room. I hoped that if I would have been able to destroy that connector if I built that other way to reach all the other rooms with (because technically all other rooms would still be reachable if connector 1 wouldn't be there).

So to sum it up: I would like to have the option to swap the type of connector (in this case make a Cross out of the T connector).

Hello ! I had the same problem in an old dojo with a corridor loop / room .. each asking me to destroy the previous one and therefore none could be destroyed.
I love the idea of being able to replace one room by another with similar size/output !! :)

This would make a fine addition. Instead you have to demolish like half the dojo.
