A Nyx Rework from a Nyx main

Nyx Rework: Passive: enemies under the effects of nyx's abilities now deal 25% more damage to each other

 

1. Psychic Bolts: Nyxs 2 is moved to her 1 as is psychic bolts would be an average first ability but the main point of keeping psychic bolts it to add synergy with the rest of her kit (something i am afraid DE is going to ignore by adding a ability that will reduce enemy damage which would fight her kit) mechanically the ability is the same, the rad proc chance is now 100% and will last 25s at max rank, enemys affected will get a 150% damage buff to fighting each other (afffected by power strength), and will generate more threat taking the heat off of nyx and her allies, (maybe add a health or armor debuff im not sure) the augment for psychic bolts could be left alone it stuns enemys hit by the ability allowing her to get finishers on them or just a breather from time to time, its also the only hard CC she will ever get.

 

2. Mind control: this ablity has a lot more potential then most give it credit for

a. for the love of god targets affected by mind control should not stop defense from progressing, as much as i love using nyx to ruin banshee hydron farming with quake, i shouldnt be able to do it.

b. the augment is now a passive part of the ability granting 500% increased damage scaling with power strength and synergises with the damage boost from Nyx's 1 (the 500% will be applied first with that damage then being magnified by nyx's 1)

c. mind control cleanses all statuses (like molecular prime) from affected targets

d. when cast on an enemy affected by nyx's 1 or 3 the ability is free

e. duration cap is removed

f. the abiltiy can be cast on multiple targest scaling with duration base of 4 targets

Augment: i have 3 options

a. mind freak: instead of increasing the damage the enemy deals it now adds 75% damage reduction to the target

b. eximus empowerment: the target enemy is turned into a eximus unit with a random chance for each type but cannot be an energy leech

c. body doubble: the ability now only affects one enemy but turns them into a perfect copy of nyx, abilities, weapons, mods, all, if the player dies while body doubble is active and alive then nyx will switch places with the doubble. (energy cost increase may be needed)

 

3. Chaos this ability is fine as is adding in the synergy from her 1 and 2 as well as her passive, the augment now no longer features a shrinking range

 

4. Im not a big fan of absorb the ability is garbage without the augment,

a. the ability no longer drains energy per damage taken

b. reapply the infamous nyx fix only given a. is applied

c. enemies under the effects of nyx's other abilities will target nyx while her 4 is active , any damage bonuses they have will increase the damage she absorbs.

e. maybe just maybe allow her to use weapons but not move, the augment in this scenario would be buffed giving nyx 50% of normal speed, and the ability to single jump and roll, something closer to ivara, but you cant deactivate the ability without pressing 4.
