[Suggestion] Lore/story-Writing Competitions

Hi there. As a frequent trawler of the Fan Zone subforum, it's pretty clear that loads of Warframe players also have tons of talent when it comes to writing stories or lore. However, the subforum doesn't get quite as much traffic as other subforums, so a lot of these great efforts go unnoticed by the majority of forum-goers.

 

At the same time, the fact that there are vast tracts of ambiguous/unwritten lore in Warframe has been turned into something of an advantage by creative members. They write their own lore and backstories to fill these tracts, which has given rise to some truly original ideas and features.

 

With both of these in mind, how about DE hold monthly Lore/Story-writing competitions on the forums, with platinum as a reward? It would elevate the Fan Zone's popularity, showcasing the talents of members that would otherwise go unlauded and unseen, and also encourage more players to get creative. 

 

Another reward for winning these competitions that I think would be great, would be for these works to become part of official Warframe lore - either written into the game or the website. It's an added incentive, and also allows the community to actively shape the game that we're a part of.
