AureusVulpes Posted September 25, 2013 Share Posted September 25, 2013 (edited) Like it or hate it, this is an interesting idea that has been floating around in my head for a while. fairly simple and straightforward, though an interesting concept in my opinion. Omni would be able to equip abilities from any frame, but only one from each number. For example, he can only use EITHER Freeze or Fireball, but not both, since both are first abilities. This would allow for interesting builds. The drawback to Omni is he starts completely unpolarized. Nothing. The player would have to Forma repeatedly him to get him up to speed. Thoughts? OP? Pointless? Edit1:Not sure how stats would balance, though I'm sure Scott could find a way. Probably 100HP/100SD/50A/100E to keep him average. Ravtek Posted September 25, 2013 Share Posted September 25, 2013 While it's a cool idea, it think it just brings up how with the current frames we have, each of them USUALLY posses 1-2 good skills. This frame essentially takes the truly viable skills of the frames you want, and turns itself into a frame where all 4 skills are super useful. All frames should have their 1-4 be useful at all stages of the game. Omni would essentially just clarify that fact that our current frames don't have that. But still, cool idea. If you want to limit him somehow, use the classic scheme: he should not be able to equip skills of other frames at their maximum rank. I was thinking Shuriken and Iron Skin for 1 and 2, and Chaos for 3 during infested missions.
