Zakalwe
The blue tint washes the look of the game out, and really takes away from your custom colours. Turning it off makes it much more vibrant. I've no idea why they chose this as a default setting, the game looks so much nicer without it! At least, imo. CC On CC Off - It does look more atmoshperic with it on, but the colour loss is pretty huge. I actually don't mind it both ways. Kokiri
I turned it off too, though I do switch it back on here and there. I'm just assuming that they use the color correction and blur setting so gameplay feels more fast paced and intense.
Zejjie
Well to be fair i do like to use some times But like you said, you can turn it off or on depending on your preference to it, so it's not really a big deal
Zakalwe
Oh, it's not a big deal, I just don't see why they'd offer colour customisation then wash over it all with a filter that makes everything look almost the same...
Zejjie
The colours are still the same, the filter alters all of the colours on screen Which is probably why DE offered the option of turning it off
FOLTHEON
Are we playing a different game? I have enabled color correction because otherwise everything looks brown and washed out. Edited January 17, 2013 by FOLTHEON

Are we playing a different game? I have enabled color correction because otherwise everything looks brown and washed out. I guess you must be. Zakalwe
Yes, the big green part stands out fine, but the smaller details definitely blend in more with it on, especially the more pastel colours.
Sealgaire
I prefer the visuals with color correction on. Adds to the atmosphere in my opinion. I think the effect might be kind of exaggerated for some people because the Corpus levels we have now are already mostly blue/grey. If they use different filters for different map sets it should make them seem even more different.
