  1. I've only recently came back to warframe (I've been gone for like 3 years) and wow people are still suggesting the same thing xD

    It may sound cool and all but Warframe isn't the game for PvP squad skirmish. I used to be an advocate for PvP in warframe but I don't think it would work after all that time. I never liked the conclave anyways either.

  2. From what I observed, they don't seem to get any effect of the mods equipped on the loadout you stored. For instance, I used a Saryn with only the ult ability and the specter still used that poison spore thingy. Also they don't seem affected by power strength mods cuz the abilities are doing S#&$ for damage.

    On the bright side, they seem affected by your Aura if you use it. They will get healed over time if you have rejuv on. But the Aura you equipped when you made the loadout doesn't seem to take effect.

  4. Yeah that still doesn't make it okay. Have you tried a Tigris on one of them? I basically took a rhino with a tigris and equipped my desecrate build Nekros and let the Specter slash everything for double desecrate. I've stayed in for about 45 minutes without shooting a single bullet myself or using ANY life support capsule. After that the specter started dying to Grineer bombers so I had to take them out b4 they shoot.

  5. Hello everyone,

     

    In this thread I plan to list all the bugs that I found in the specters. Please feel free to contribute.

     

    Lets start:

    - Specters can't efficiently charge charged weapons. In a 60wave ODD my Ogris-Rhino only shot like 9 rockets.

    - If you mark a specter with G, it will look like an enemy.

    - You can scan your specter with the Codex Scanner, but it doesn't appear as a codex entry anywhere (Unless my search abilities have failed me)

    - In some Orokin secret rooms, the Specter will get stuck inside and can't leave as if the door was closed but it's open. However it will teleport to you if you get far away from it.

    - Specters can't pick up health/energy orbs (Is this a bug?) and they are not affected by Trinity's Blessing. Also they don't cloak with you if you were a Loki and that means no specter in stealth missions.

    - They don't revive you if you die (Should they?)

    - If they are downed, you can revive them. But 1 simple hit (Like fire effects on the tileset or toxic poison) will kill them instantly if they are down. Also there's no indication that your specter is down and it's hard to see. I think we should have something on the HUD for the specter (Like health, shields, energy,... etc and we should be able to issue basic commands to them like use 3rd ability or switch to melee mode or hold position or something).

    - If you die and no one revived you, and you used up a revive to come back then your specter would follow someone else instead of you. Granted it should follow some1 else if you left or didn't get revived but it should come back to it's rightful "Master" if he comes back.

    - Doesn't seem to have any limitation on mag size or fire rate of weapons (It does reload occasionally though) and it doesn't seem to get any mod effects from installed mods on the loadout you stored for the specter.

    - Using a specter while another one is used would kill the first one even if both were the same type (for instance, 2 vapors). This is kinda annoying if you press Q mid-fight to open a health restore and you pop up a 100k credits by accident. Also when that happens it's like the engines of the specter just went BAM and it ragdolls on the ground. Kinda weird when you drop a Pokéball and any other ones you had just die.

    - Using a specter while facing a wall will not get the specter out. The ball will drop on the wall and nothing will happen. Goodbye 4k plastids.

    - Really need to give commands to specters... Why would I want it to follow me into a trap-full orokin secret room where I can barely survive all the lazor beams and the poor little specter will just die...

  6. They said they reduced the spawn rate of arc traps near the door to the holding cells. (Now it's like 3 of them)

    Anyways, if you really like stealth you should've discovered the secret passage into the holding cells without going through the big door.

    Also, what's life without that little piece of furniture that keeps stabbing your little toe? :D

    but yeah I do hate arc traps as well but I hate that door thingy that drains your energy more. What if I'm in a mission with a melee weapon only, how the F am I supposed to destroy it?

  7. Well what I like about the OR is actually the increased field of view. The 3D is like a bonus. Being a 3rd person shooter games gives a good visible range around you but it'd be easier if you can actually decide which portion of the screen do you want to focus on at that moment. That may even tie up to Melee targeting (Like target where I'm looking, not the enemy behind me).

    Also I'd love to see some1 Disrupted by an ancient while wearing an OR :3

  8. Specter doesn't charge any charge weapons. Tried one with an ogris and just watched it being a cute shiny statue showing off it's huge rocket launcher and reloading every now and then.

    Seems to be the same deal with all charge weapons.
