    just did some void runs the other day with groups that wanted to "rush" (shudder)

    Perhaps you could mention all those "small" hidden rooms, like the urns you have to use walljump to get, or the one u have to use wallrun to get to.

    If needed, i could make a few screenshots as soon as im home and post them here.

    Screenshots will be useful :D (fauxhb provided me with a couple screenies that I'll be using soon)

    I'm planning to add those small rooms after I'm done with the big ones.

    ohh I just have it on my PC individually. Not through Steam. (Basically because I don't like Steam and I've been playing before the game became available on Steam) 

  3. Well...

    I would argue that some stuff are better than others (for example, kunai). And some frames are better then others as well (I like Loki to farm materials with max speed and stamina, but nothing more than that). I agree that Ember and Excalibur are among the best frames in the game but personally I don't like trinity...

    Dual Zorens are a must, I agree :D

    but I'm not much of a melee kind of person, so I like Latron and Paris :D

  4. My questions to the level designers are about the void puzzles.

    1- I noticed that the difficulty of the puzzles doesn't increase when you move to a harder tower (same puzzles in Tower, Tower II, and Tower II). I was wondering if we could get new (and maybe harder) puzzles for the higher level void missions?

    2- I would love to see new ideas in puzzles (like maybe reversed gravity rooms or reversed controls or something). I would also like to see more deadly traps activated when you fail a puzzle.

    3- Since Warframe is Co-op, Can we get some co-op puzzles as well? like maybe a puzzle that each one of the 4 players in the squad has a part to do and they need to clear it simultaneously to unlock a secret room with super-cool rewards? (maybe it will reward you with a Tower IV key or something :D)

    4- One last thing about the puzzles is that sometimes when enemies step on the puzzle activation panel it wouyld react as if the player stepped on it and that would most likely ruin the puzzle. Could we have a fix for that so that if an enemy steps on the panel nothing will happen? (btw I'm fine with enemies activating traps but they really mess up my puzzles and obstacle courses when they prematurely step on a panel)

     

    Another Question that isn't very much related to level designers but here goes: when you pop up a void key it says that void runs should drop alloy plates and rubedo but they never do. Is that intended or will it be fixed?

     

    P.S. I already made a guide to the current puzzles in the void but I would love to discover some more and add them to my guide :D

    On room 1 anyone can activate it, ive never hosted a Void mission but ive completed the puzzle a few times.

    Yes but only the host can see the colors. Others (even enemies) can step on the panels but they have a 75% chance of activating a trap and failing the mission. Doing it without seeing the colors basically gives you a chance of 4.125% to successfully solve it, whereas seeing the colors is a 100% chance :D

    I actually know this one (because of loot radar) but I never actually got mods from there, so I'm keeping it on a low priority atm (since I have so few slots to post stuff and there is still like 2 cool obstacle courses and 1 puzzle room)

    No, I've seen both panels open on one side when I hit the first panel, but when I come back to that side for the 4th they've closed again.

    I've never seen them close but I'll look into it and get back to you.

    maybe 4 or 5 more.

     

    for room 2 (the bridge cold floor one) you can wall run on the left side(from your screenshot's point of view) of the cold floor, doing so will basically allow you avoid the cold floor and also to jump off at the end of the run into a air slide/air slash which helps you clear some more distance.

    Very useful information. A lot of this I worked out myself, but I was completely stumped on the colour changing floor panels and such. Thanks.

    Oh, and for prosperity I completely mis-timed the jump off that wall run. If you get it right it sends you flying through the door and into the secret room. I have no idea why the door stopped closing, but hell am I grateful.

    And the doors for the secret rooms will always halt right before they close (to give you a little extra chance to slide in). 

  7. Anyone have tips on room 5? I can get all 4 panels, but it seems like the side rooms close if you try to get them

    The side rooms will not close if they are opened. The problem in this room is that the obstacle course will not always activate. Plus I can't seem to test it out thoroughly because usually my teammates or an enemy will screw things up. If I get more information I will update the original post.

    Where does the hidden room appear ?

    Will stepping on the wrong panel  cause it to fail ?

    See the image of the room? see where it says "Loot Room"? That room is usually closed and it opens when you successfully open the puzzle is solved. Pressing on a wrong panel will fail the puzzle and activate the traps.

     

     

     

    I have very simple solution to go to Room 3, that I can get there with just first jump. All you have to do is stand onto that arc and jump out of the window in that room's window direction. While you are in the air, make relatively fast half-circular movement of mouse to make yourself face the room3's window. It should make you stand on the sill just before the window. Then you can simply jump between these adornments into the room. I will try to record this jump next time and maybe post the video here. I practiced this and it's very simple to get there. (maybe I'm unlucky but almost all of containers are always closed..so not worth to get there thou)

  9. This is awesome, I'd found out most of these already but I totally missed out on one of them!. 

     

    Btw, on the agility test you have with the two laser turrets & the 2 cryo strips, not sure if you know but you can wall run along the curved inner wall to the side of the cryo bits to find a small area with containers & lockers, which can either be exited by a pipe or back the same way you came in. It's certainly not a puzzle but it's a hidden area.

    Yup, I'm already aware of this but I rarely ever found anything useful there. Maybe one or two storage containers that would explode in my face or something xD

    But I will get to every hidden room in the void. And since the room on the side is actually not the same hidden room so I'll do it in a separate post :D
