    However, I've noticed pets tend to take a great deal more damage and unlike sentinels, don't die immediately. In most missions, my sentinels get killed by stray gunfire a lot earlier than my smeeta even when enemies are targeting them. By the time they run out of revives from the mod, my pet's still alive and fighting. Additionally, pets have more utility function compared to sentinels. Smeeta is great for double exp/loot which stacks with other doubled modifiers, making kuva farms that much more profitable. They also give 100% orange crits for several seconds, instant reload, etc. Moas can provide a range of utilities like the bullet shield that slows projectiles or lowers damage taken from them.

    Moa, Kubrow and Kavaats have very nice precepts, I have no issue with that. The issue is that they will die if you are not meleeing. I have a maxed Kavaat build with lots of formas, it actually dies very easily if I'm not playing toward making him survive(aka playing a tanky frame AND meleeing). I invested a lot in it, the survival of these pets is limited even highly invested on.

  2. The fact that the coin is recycled as you go in a mission is not an issue. Actually it takes roughly 4mn doing the hand + objective + getting a coin wich is the time it takes for the ncp to reliably spawn. The big problem is that atm the granum void has no purpose after getting the parts. So what's left after grinding protea is a pretty tileset and that's it. 🙂I'm not counting Jackal rework it is mainly New Player Experience content, you'll run it in sorties once per week or less and that's it, let's mention that he is not that threatening in sorties either.

  3. I find it pretty good but it requires more polish and to be severely expanded on. Having missions in the mission is great however people who go in void during a jackal mission should not be waited, they choose to do it so they skip jackal if the party is on it. In survivals it is for the players to handle themselves, you go in there to get extra loots and you need to assume your choice.

    Atm Granum void is just there to loot protea parts, it is not hard nor to be engaged in long terms.

    Already, players who go in granum void are marginal, it is already an old update(yes it has 2 days but it is so slim that 90% of us have done it day 1) and most players have what they need from it.

    tl;dr; it is a decent prospect for the game as there are many newer players around.

    It is imho a good thing, it means that there are lots of newer players. Factoring farming the few mats I was missing for the new Moa it took me less than 4h total doing the quest, farming ALL the protea stuff and starting the craft of the moa and the new sentinel weapon. Wich is btw pretty sad as it is all the content this update incentivises.

    But to be honest when you reach mr 28-29 you start playing the game way less. Atm there is nothing in end game except chasing for speed, trying to be faster than before.

    About the standing: this is about efficiency more than time. Caping solaris united at mr 29 for example can be done in less than 15mn reliably.

    About the prime parts: it is a core part of the game since its first big update. It is there, will stay there, it is in the game's DNA. And it is also something I consider engaging when farming new primes as a party.

    About RJ: Yesterday I recovered a "do 8 rj missions". I launched the lvl1 earth squirmish. It took me 16:30 after starting the first mission to do everything, it could have saved maybe 1 or 2 minutes because I was drinking coke and had to wait few times one player to be tped back in the rj after completing the objective. The 3 players in my RJ had no clue about what was happening I was seeing tycho missiles flying here or there and a player recasted several times the ram and threw black holes in space. However they were happy.

    Yes, Jupiter Tile set with Wisp was outstanding. That was a sure hit. We have to motivate DE push their game further instead of having knife and fork all the time in our hands. DE decided to push Tennocon Agust 1 because you know what, the PS5 became a game changer. DE is interested on that pie of costumers. So they are at least trying to insert themselves in the next generation.

    2) On a personnal perspective, I feel empathetic about your angelism, but as every thing that goes nowhere in this world, it has a very self degrading side. DE doesn't need our inconditionnal support to succeed

    3) For the PS5, we don't really have to care, the console releases was imho a mistake anyway. The update quality seems to be inversely tied to the number of consoles the game is released on. On top of it I don't know how you can make a game attractive on PS5 while it is also on NSW... I understand why they went on console market($$$), but as a old player and as a player who owns a good PC, it is always a bad new. NEVER a game is as good when released on consoles simulatenously. It works with outstanding console games, wich get a better PC version(MHW) and that's it. Each console is a technical concern, it makes games pretty stale.

  6. I though there was a consensus about star chart bosses beeing fodder material. This new Jackal fight is a 2mn one that puts emphasis on pre operator gameplay as d1 the void dash was rigging it. This update has nothing to rejoice veteran players wich is kind of sad as the game is already on every platform, there are less and less prospects each years. I'll give it a 5/10 because of the aesthetic but I'm sorry I'm not part of the crowd that is sensible to it. I prefered honestly some other reworks like Kela De Thaym wich is very old.

    Now about the quest itself: it is alse poor. However it is pretty and polished and the new corpus tiles are a success.

    I'm very mixed about this update and pretty pissed off that it is 100% dedicated to newer players. Jupiter rework was a success because it introduced a compelling game mode(also the boss wasn't trash), this one introduces this coin concept that is extremly bland and easy in its current state(it has high potential like liches tho), you have no reason to engage with it after collecting the parts and eventually the fluffy posters.

  7. 3 hours after the update I had everything in the foundry except one moa part because I miss 5 amarasts ^^. A random part mission took between 4 and 4:30 minutes to run, I sticked with the first random I encountered and actually what took the most time in proportion was the Jackal farm while it can be done on average in 3 to 5 short runs... Now compare that to some warframe grinds in the game: Titania(not hard or time consuming but overly complicated for no reason), Octavia(may be tense for new player) or Harrow(lol). Weapon side there are some absolutely nasty weapons in the game drop rate wise: Braton vandal with some parts droping at astonishing low drop rates in ESO 8th wave and Korrudo(wich is not that painfull farming IF you have the gear and a good machine)

    Actually I'm baffled by how casualised and streamlined this update is... They really need to wire depth to this coin system, it is a very good initial content draft, but if it goes nowhere atm.

  8. Most recent frames seem to be dedicated to newer players tho. That omni pad on a cast and those random nukes are clearly new player experience materials. Also I want to point out that the acquisition of her and her signature weapons is extremly easy/streamlined. It took me less than 3 hours getting everything and I got lots of dupes, bad luck on Jackal with no complexity or scalling involved.

  9. I made 3 missions bug in a row and I'm pretty sure it is that. If you void dash on Jackal to Parazon him quicker it won't work at all. I'm 99%¨sure that collision with void dash causes the bug, it started working again as soon as I stoped void dashing and it bugged every mission I was doing it.

  10. That is an impressive patchnote that kept me busy during the update. Now lets do this quest and farm those pesky modular stuff you added you crazy fools.

    Bad arguments mate. You forgot the head shot multiplier factor and oversimplified the calculation. However I won't say you're wrong on the weapons that have very low status chance very obviously. The truth is that this incidental crit multiplier is very noticeable on status and hybrid builds... Before its up hammershot was in pretty bad stop(some players still used it but it wasn't very good) but with its buff and the status rework it is stapple on a lot of non meta weapons.

    It is already very strong.It would the compete with vital sense even... Atm hammer shot goes in almost any build that is ready to trade off a marginal bit of eidolon/bosses dps.

  13. Well it is pretty self explatory. If you can apply statuses reliably, the damage increase ones are too good to skip and if you one tap the knockdown is pointless. For blast, impact, puncture and cold to see some play you need actually to make them a damage increase as well, maybe delayed or synergistic with other statuses. There are profound design flaws on our status system. The initial status 2.0 felt like it was "jerked out"(if I may say) and the rework feels like some residue of the old towel(If I may say).

  14. Honestly I pretty much enjoyed Kuva Liches and RJ, there are issue with updates flow however. It is not as fast or smooth as we'd like to.

    And yes DE can afford making high end content and it is what they try doing a lot. Events are not particulary high end, however last even required minmaxing, especially on ground for optimal farming.

    Kuva Liches was nice with tech involved to generate the liches, it should have expanded regularily with a tight 3 month schedule, but I feel like the company is bad at building different features at once. I think it is due to project management issues wich is strange as the bug backlogs get handled in the other hand.

    DE should stop with those very "ambitious" tennocon annoucements and work more tightly into pipelines. GGG does that since years now on PoE and player retention peaks regularily, warframe content is very different but there can be content update of that scale every 3 monthes. For example releasing Corpus liches as the random generator is already there would have been fine 3 monthes after goonies liches, puting a more junior team with it, Liches generate money, I did not craft most of the formas maxing the weps and it makes the plat economy moves. It makes players play.

    Pennant has guaranteed Bleed procs on heavy, pretty sure initial combo and critical chance is negotiable. The weapon is serviceable on heavy attacks without utilizing those two stats as riven stats.

    Attack Speed/Crit Damage/Range are still the better stats to consider, since you can utilize those stats for light and heavy and still enhance your performance amazingly well.

    You roll a Riven for min maxing. Why removing the best damage per affix then? The stance for two handed nikanas is very debatable also...

  16. There are 2 non negotiable stats on min maxed pennant riven. This weapon has high crit and amazing heavy attack through range and slash procs.

    - 1st stat: initial combo and you'll need a good roll on it as well, the purpose of that is to ditch corrupted charge but it can also be comboed with it if you get a combo breakpoint

    - 2nd stat: crit chance, as for heavies you have crit chance x 2

    - 3rd stat is more flexible but crit damage will do wonders as you'll perform red crits. Attack speed is never a dead weight as it is a dps increase, however arcane strike is generally here for that when you don't have access to attack speed buffs.

    as minus combo related things, impact are nice.

    Honestly the weapon has such base damage that going for max slash dot damage is imho the best. The weapon obliterates atm everything in the game with one shots.I own every melee weapon in the game except S&O and I really believe this one is atm the strongest big boy damage one.

  17. It starts getting decently rewarding at 3x3. I think everybody has to go through them at least a bit. Even if there are still some crazy bugs in party play(like the stuck in operator with left clic disabled) for non host it is the most polished/wholesome end game experience in the game. It uses basically every game mechanics and gradually rewards minmaxing through allowing you to run more in a night.

    This content is however unbalanced at hell. Volt is kind of the hill, with often 2 volt per parties and the fact that this content is limited really prevents most players to try no stuff. I use Titania as dps very often and I get trolled while it is imho better than having a harrow...
