I think these two are going to be damn heavy considering the base as well. If you noticed, the base is a lotus emblem and will most likely be part of the two statues.
They look like idols tbh ;) start praying to them and perhaps whatever you farm might drop lol

Think of Changyou as Microsoft or Sony, they don't make pieces for this game however they publish it. There is a team in changyou's business that is devoted to Warframe and it's quality.
Its easier to think of them as steam's china equivilant

Currently waiting for the next "points to activation code" exchange which happens next tuesday. After acquiring that, I will be able to play the chinese warframe. So please wait :).

I say we should open a thread just for discussing what our china counterpart are getting and what we are not and anything other aspects which are different. And there should be evidence to support as well as no google translated gibberish.

Not too well i am afraid. I am waiting for an activation code which has the drop rate of a loki prime system lol. I need to queue for the activation code before i can play warframe China.
I am even thinking of getting founders pack in china and stop all these rumours and post screenshot of what it is like in there lol. £70 is putting me off though...

They may have said we will be getting a different frame, but our interpretation is that it's a totally different non-gold one. Gold Excalibur Umbra Prime in China and gold Excalibur Umbra in the rest of the world could still have the same model and PBR but still be considered as 2 separate entities due to the name.
Got you there. It will be a totally different model if we are getting umbra excalibur because China's officials said that DE and them agreed that the one in the picture is one of a kind and exclusive to the Chinese founders and will not be obtained through market or drops. They have agreed on this and will not be changing from that stance.

Senpai, I gave 2 separate answers too. It is a Prime in China, but it's just Excal Umbra for us, the skin may be the same. My bad if I was unclear.
The one in the pictures is exclusive to china founders only. we will be getting one with a different look. as for who said so, the community manager of china warframe did on their statement

This will have to be answered by DE. so far nothing have been said about which avenue we will be getting these only that we will be getting them. Most probably after August 7th as china founder access have to conclude first.

I have yet to see chinese warframe players kicking up a fuss on the forums about how they will not be getting nikana or kunai prime if they do not pay for founders access so i think it is a good example to learn from them. If they have the money to get founders access and the weapons, good for them, if not, tough, they will just continue on without too much of a fuss.
If it were here and only our founders are getting the prime weapons, I can imagine the sh1t storm being bigger than this.

ok i didnt get that, are you saying that chinese from the chinese forum are believing changyou or rebecca?
Their forum super admin is known as Lulu. What i mean by that post is the chinese warframe players also trust their admin rather than our's over here.
So ultimately, both groups are blindly putting their faith into their "leaders" and not leaving any room for error by their respective "leaders"
What is needed is:
a) stop using google translate as a reliable source of information
b) trust the people who understand multiple languages
c) patiently wait for official response.

Do you know and trust that chinese company? cuz me and most warframe players (assuming) don't!
I trust DE and above that I trust Rebbeca when it comes to info about the game, she has always come forth and helped the players
She has made questions in streams that made the developers nervous
She farmed Mesa just to see if players were right in how hard and unpleasent it was to farm a frame in free player style
She has been there for us always
Basically she is the best community manager I know
I don't know squat about that chinese company and I ain't gonna trust their word above Rebbecas
And neither should you
She says the one in the image is Umbra Excalibur and that we will get him eventually and I trust her
She has no reason to lie, on the other hand the chinese dudes obviously could be willing to say it's only theirs so people spend their money to get it

I like how you ignore the fact that most Console players, would pay out of their pockets to get their hands on an exclusive package, like this, for our consoles. DE also seem to completely miss that point as well.
You are obviously hoping that DE say that it IS exclusive to China and all non-Founders will be getting a downgraded version. Your thought process: 'Oh no, a new, cooler looking Excalibur has been made by DE. I don't want that Excalibur standing next to my Excal Prime, it'll make me look like a commoner! The Founders must prevail'
Not wanting to burst your bubble but something tells me that China PS4 and XBone players are segregated from international ones as well. And i am trying to see if the console players in china are going to get this exclusive pack as well or not.
how do i know this? well their console version is at 15.5 and their PC is at 15.13.7 Our consoles version is 16.7.2 and PC is at 16.11.5

You really should submit this to china's support ticket. I am not sure if our support here is able to deal with your requests. I have not encountered a mobile defense whereby the key is stuck in the terminal so cannot really comment. Split chamber is not that rare to cry over split milk really :) you will get this mod in future if you really are persistent. All the best.

This is quite a late announcement for Devstream but better late than never I guess.
Here are a few queries.
- ETA on when is U17 coming?
- Will China warframe founders decision be carried over to the international scene and vice versa?
- WIll the 2 regions of warframe have the same content or will they go on separate paths after china's release?
- Is the "catbrow" based on the chinese/japanese mythology's 9 tailed fox?
