  1. Wasn't able to watch it this time did they said anything about the Release of Umbra Excalibur and the 2 prime Weapons that came along with him in the Chinese Warframe? The one month exclusivity should be over by now.

China is still selling the founders package at the moment. I expect that there will be new about the umbra warframe once they have concluded that.

  2. Would be strange if everyone on the team brough clem along

    Clem1: clem

    Clem2: clem clem

    Clem3: Clem clem clem

    Clem4: clem clem clem clem

all you hear is clem clem clem clemclem clem clem clemclem clem clem clemclem clem clem clemclem clem clem clemclem clem clem clemclem clem clem clem

    lol

imagine that on a Raid :P 8 clems lol

  3. Darvo's mission guiding was quite refreshing and funny in the latest quest. I purposely activated life support even though life support is at 90% just to hear what he would say as oppose to hearing Lotus's standard phrases.

Yes, perhaps having different people guiding missions can make the game play much more refreshing and add more LIFE into the game itself.

  4. Hi DE,

    Just one question this time

    Archwing

Is it possible to have a targeting system where you can lock an enemy nearest to you or cycle through the available enemies? this mechanism will automatically focus your direction to the target without having to manually steer and get lost in the midst of a heated battle. If that is possible, can we then multi lock-on enemies and fire missiles to them rather than simply pressing 3 and hope for the best?

A game which can be used for reference is Zone of the Enders: the 2nd Runner. They have good targeting systems and feature aerial melee and shooting combat and is worth having a look at. Even part of the game features fighting 4 "motherships" and a boss who is 100x your size that fires lasers and is good for reference for the upcoming raid development.

  5. just run a mission with out any weapons equiped....there is a secret reward if you can do it.

I tried selecting none for all my weapon loadouts but it doesnt allow you to unequip the last weapon if you already have none in other two categories.

  6. I have recently been collecting these and wonder if DE could liaise with any of those companies to produce an action figure? I am sure they will sell like hot cakes ;)

Would love an Excalibur in Proto-armour form next to my Guyver 1 figure :)

For those who do not know what these are, these are 4"/5" highly articulated action figures produced in Japan of anime, gaming or live action henshin characters. Here's a pic of an example.

Figma (goodsmile company) might be a good company to contact as they make good quality action figures at affordable prices to the general public.

  7. Well, I was thinking we can choose between the four different Narta Emotes and choose one to use as a stance.

They can even unlock certain moves and make the "stance" a level up type of thing so the more you do it, more complex moves will be unlocked. And as a bonus, this might affect your other weapon proficency ie attack speed etc etc.

We have to get DE to implement this first though as there are loads of possibilities.

  8. Looking at the emotes ie the Narta series, it would seem like a good idea to use some of stances and actions from there for unarmed combat. As it stands now, the grineer Drahk Master can disarm your primaries and secondaries but not your melee weapon as there is no mechanics for unarmed combat.

I think we should be able to do unarmed combat or even bring no weapons into a mission and just use martial arts.

    What do you guys think?

  9. The only way i see this viable and reasonable is on sabotage missions where you have destroyed the enemy ship's reactor and should in fact rush to extraction as the ship is likely to blow up.

However, I don't think players will be happy if they fail the mission due to a slow player or a player losing their way to the extraction point, which is why a timer wasn't included in these types of missions as per other console games I have played that had such a feature ie halo or gears of war.

  10. Besides the usual question of:

    - when are we getting the Orokin moon base

    - when is umbra coming and which frames will be receiving this treatment

    - How is the new warframe (brawler) coming along and eta

I though I ask a question which hasnt anything to do with what has been revealed

    Query

Will we be seeing sub missions in mission in future ie on survival but gets an alert that there is a vip on board to capture with bonus items or triggers some sort of reaction from the enemy AI. Or maybe an exterminate mission in space (archwing) and transition to boarding a grineer ship to rescue hostages/prisoners. This sub mission might be an entirely random occurrence which happens based on RNG and might add additional flavour to already monotonous and familiar mission types

Also, will we see some LIFE in game ie NPC in the game such as engineers fixing things, grineer diplomats, Corpus scientists, enslaved colonists, Armoury rooms where we can refill ammo or change weapons, medical rooms that produce life orbs and energy orbs, barracks with proper marching in rank soldiers which we accidentally stumble and stir up the hornets nest (aka Han Solo in death star scene). Currently there isnt much "life" in the environments except enemies wandering around waiting to attack us. Would love to see non-combatant enemies fleeing from us.

  11. I actually prefer to be MR 0 if not for all the restrictions placed in the game itself ie not being able to use chat for recruiting, trading.

Why do I like to stay at MR 0? well I like people to think I am a newbie but am actually not and so that people will not judge a player based on his MR :).

Also, "zero" has a nice mysterious vibe  to it lol

  12. Having been playing hack and slash games like dynasty/samurai warriors as well as shooters like Halo and Gears of war, I have been thinking if our missions can have any variety like what is encountered in the above mentioned games.

    Survival

when going to a survival, perhaps there could be an alert that a VIP has been detected carrying "important" stuff and the survival then goes into a "capture" mode. This adds more spice to the usual survival and also gives people less incentive to camp as they have to get moving to get that "bonus".

Also perhaps instead of activating Life Support Modules which appear out of nowhere, perhaps Life Support rooms can be implemented and players have to get power cells from a certain power cell dispenser (which requires terminal hacking to drop cell) and get the cell to the life support room? Seeing that Life support has been turned/cut off, this would make it logical that we are able to turn it back on albeit temporary?

    Mobile Defense and Defense

In Defense or mobile defense, perhaps it is also much more interesting if players can "deploy" point defenses or "repair" damaged ones so that they can have staggered defense points and things to slow the enemy down rather than hiding in forsts' globes and activating lasers. Having a power cell dispenser which drops power cells to power static defenses is also what I have been thinking about.

    Mix and Mash

I cannot think of any other ways of adding stuff into the rest of the mission types but perhaps they could do a mix and mash of them ie going on a archwing we found a VIP ship which turns into a capture, and discovered people to rescue and also need to destroy the ship to prevent so and so from reaching here and there which becomes a sabotage cum exterminate.

I think most people would prefer to "know" what mission type they are going into but I think doing a Mix up of the missions itself would give players surprise and if the rewards are good, players will definitely want to play it.

That said, keeping the original mission type and having an option for "surprise" missions would be an interesting way of playing the game imo.

  13. Gmag still pulls Life Support to herself which affects the entire team. So it should matter that you are unable to get life support. However, Energy supply to team members might be an issue so the best solution would either be stock up on loads of energy restores, or get a trinity. Or better yet, do both options :)

You can try Nekros, Forst, Trinity and Gmag.
